Focus

One of the best ways to find Peace of Mind in any situation is to focus.  When you gain the ability to focus, you can then meditate.  Once you grasp this skill, you can use it when you need it most, which is in times of stress.  

The first step that you can take to help you learn how to find and then internalize focus within your being is to locate your third eye.  Your third eye is located between your eyes right above the bridge of your nose.  In order to locate it, close your eyes and try to feel this point.  Try to feel this point.  Concentrate on it.  The third eye is where you go when you begin your journey in to meditate.  You can come back to this point during the day when you feel unsettled or "off."

One simple way to focus is to light a candle and stare at the flame.  Try to concentrate only on the flame.  For an experiment, conjure up a few emotions while staring at the flame and see what happens.

By focusing, you give yourself the space to be in the moment which is very liberating.
